Amanda Nunes Wants Conor McGregor-like Level of Achievements

On February 11, Holly Holm and Germaine de Randamie will contest for the inaugural UFC women’s featherweight championship. It’s a division the UFC created because, frankly speaking, one of their biggest and most marketable stars in Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino can’t make any weight lower than that.

“Cyborg” is expected to challenge the winner of that bout. Those who closely follow MMA know that Cyborg is one of the most fearsome fighters in all of MMA regardless of division or gender class.

Nunes, who is obviously not afraid of anyone and is willing to face any challenge, recently had a word with TMZ.

Nunes Wants To Fight For The UFC Women’s Featherweight Belt

“Honestly, I want to take a little time, enjoy it a little bit but I really look forward to this 145-pound belt,” Nunes told the gossip site.

“Maybe I’ll go up to fight for the 145-pound belt. We’ll see. Maybe I’m going to have two belts like Conor McGregor.”

Apparently riding the high of having won the biggest bout in her career, Nunes feels on top of the world. If Cyborg is able to capture the women’s featherweight belt and Nunes makes good on her intentions to win the 145-pound title, she could end up facing Cyborg in what could be the biggest fight in women’s MMA history.

Does Nunes have enough machismo to handle the pure malevolent offensive force that is Cyborg? The fight could very well go down!
