Well, not quite. Barack Obama impersonator, comedian Reggie Brown who bears a striking resemblance to the 44th Commander in Chief of the United States has just received his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt, awarded to him by Alberto Crane who founded Gracie Barra in Encino, California back in 2009.
The 35-year old Brown became well-known after his comedic performance at the Republican Leadership Conference in 2011, when he made various appearances as the President of the United States of America.
Due to his uncanny physical resemblance to President Obama, Brown worked to develop his impersonation skills looking to capitalize on his situation. Today, he is now affectionately known as “Comedian in Chief.”
The video on page 2 shows Brown receiving his blue belt — the second adult ranking in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Blue belts are practitioners who are thought to have gained a wide breadth of technical knowledge of the martial art, as well as having hundreds of hours of mat experience.
