UFC welterweight star Nate Diaz of Stockton, California sat down with Andy Nesbitt for a short interview on The Buzzer recently, and touched up on various interesting subjects including his vegan diet, his bulldog Makaveli, and the time he tried to buy a Cadillac with his first UFC money but instead ended up with a dorky ass Honda Civic with tricked out rims.
“My first UFC contract, I believed I was rich. And then after my UFC contract, I realized I wasn’t rich,” said Diaz. “If you watch when I won the Ultimate Fighter, I look at Dana White and I go, ‘I’m rich’ and then I really actually believed that.”
Diaz says he had planned to buy his mom a house and a Cadillac for himself, but when he arrived at the dealership, they hooked him up with a Honda Civic instead that had tinted windows and a DVD player…
