Muay Thai or Thai boxing is one of the world’s most brutal combat sports. Elbows, knees kicks and punches, check out our list of Top 7 Brutal Muay Thai Knockouts…….
Muay Thai is one of the world’s deadliest martial arts. Using the elbows, knees, kicks and punches to inflict heavy punishment to each other, Thai fighters are some of the most well conditioned and dangerous in all combat sports.
If you visit Thailand, there isn’t a night of the week where you can’t catch some live Muay Thai events in local arenas. It’s almost like a religion over there, and they start the kids very early in training.
As a result, by the time they reach professional levels, most Thai fighters have hundreds of amateur bouts under their belts. By the 1990’s, after many 80’s Hollywood movies made the sport explode in the west, Muay Thai was becoming a much more established sport on the global scene.
The obsession with big finishes is often quelled when attending a Muay Thai event, as the wide array of spinning and flying attacks leads to some of the most entertaining finishes that can be seen inside the roped ring.
So we’ll be taking a look at the most brutal knockouts in Muay Thai, of which there are many, in the form of a video show.
Warning: These videos feature graphic and real fight scenes that (obviously) end with some quite harrowing knockout finishes. If your stomach is weak, we wouldn’t suggest watching!
