50 Cent’s ongoing beef with Conor McGregor jumped up a level this week. Will this lead to anything?

Before Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor were ever scheduled to fight, there was a long social media beef. Both men exchanged barbs and insults as the world watched, but nobody expected the fight to happen.

Boxing is Mayweather’s game, and MMA McGregor’s, two similar but completely different realms of fighting. August 26 came and went, with Mayweather winning easily, but one feud has continued on.

Earlier this week famous rapper 50 Cent made some surprising claims about Conor McGregor. Curtis Jackson (50) claimed he would smash Conor McGregor in a street fight, but his claims were mostly based on a size difference.

As we all know, in a real fight size is far from the dominant factor, and when a trained fighter is involved it’s a whole different ball game. 50 may have been a tidy amateur boxer, but McGregor is a fighting champion.

50 Cent claims he could beat Conor McGregor in a street fight…

50 Cent Filmed Hitting The Bag With Floyd Mayweather

I was like, dude, this fool didn’t know if he was fighting Floyd or me.

I was like, ‘Where did that come from?’— you know? But he was doing his job; he was putting on a show and making sure everybody was paying attention.

He doesn’t take Conor too seriously either, as it turns out, on account of Conor’s lighter weight. When asked if he could take the Irishman, his response was certainty.

In the street? Yeah! C’mon, he weighs 150 pounds, man!

After mentioning McGregor’s name, again, 50 Cent was filmed hitting the speed bag with Mayweather:

Needless to say, Conor McGregor is probably hiding behind his stacks of cash while watching this clip. 50 Cent has been trolling ‘The Notorious’ hard for a long time now, and it’s been pretty funny.

Using social media to jab at the Irish UFC star, 50 has shown his inner troll with a number of rather hilarious Instagram posts. McGregor famously fired back during the MayMac presser, calling Jackson a ‘b*tch.’

“50 Cent’s a b***h. You and 50 are two fake money b*****s. He’s bankrupt and you’re about to be.”

Here’s how 50 Cent reacted to Mayweather’s win over McGregor:

50-0, very original…

50 vs. McGregor?

So 50 Cent continues to troll a highly trained mixed martial artist in the hope of a street fight. Maybe he read the story about the time McGregor got jumped in Dublin and sensed an opportunity?

A lot has changed since then, 50…

“Usually it’s to do with women, as I’m sure you know,” McGregor told ESPN’s Highly Questionable. “Growing up as a young kid I was the younger kid and I was going after this girl. She was maybe 15, 16 years of age. Her boyfriend was like 17 or 18. Him and his little crew were driving cars and everything and I was only a young kid, but I sneaked my way in there.”

“I was with with the girl and we were walking up the street one night and the car pulled up in front of me and a big load of them jumped out and whooped my ass,” said McGregor. “I curled up in a ball and took my beating. I’d done nothing.”
