According to Anthony Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn the potential title unification fight of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua has been verbally agreed and the contracts are being made for next year.
Eddie Hearn says Tyson Fury-Anthony Joshua is verbally agreed to and contracts are being drafted for the heavyweight championship fight in May/June. Hearn says only “minor issues to resolve” such as who walks last, the site, etc. This fight is going to happen next #FuryJoshua

If the fight happens, it would undoubtedly be the biggest fight for the year 2021. There only be one face, one name, and one champion for the heavyweight division. It is a shame that the pandemic is happening right now, had it not, it would break gate records and PPV buys for British boxing.
Both boxers are from Britain, so it would make sense to make the fight in the UK. Anthony Joshua has a huge following that he has sold out seats in the O2 Arena even though he is fighting smaller names.
Anthony Joshua is coming off a super impressive win against Kubrat Pulev that he has gained back the confidence from when he was undefeated. Even Tyson Fury congratulated Joshua for the amazing performance and is more than ready to make the fight happen.
Top-Rank promoter, Bob Arum has also said prior to the reports that he is working on making the Fury-Joshua fight happen next year. Hearing both promoters of each side saying that they are working on making the fight possible makes the fans feel optimistic.
It looks like the stage is set for the biggest Heavyweight championship fight since Ali-Frazier in 1971, when @Tyson_Fury meets @anthonyfjoshua for the undisputed crown.
We at Top Rank will start on Monday working to put that fight together.

When Joshua was asked post-fight whether he wants Fury as his next opponent, he dodged the question by saying whatever the promoter and the belt organization have as their mandatory challenger will be who he will fight.
Oleksandr Usyk is the current heavyweight WBO mandatory challenger. If Joshua refuses to fight Usyk and fight Joshua, he will likely be stripped of the belt unless they give an exception.
Usyk was once the unified cruiserweight champion, holding all the major belts in the division simultaneously. But he did hint that he is willing to step aside and fight the winner of Fury vs Joshua.
We will have to wait and see if both sides of the team agree on their negotiations. If the fighters agree on the said contract of the fight purse, pay, and even venue. There are a lot of issues to tackle before making the official announcement that the fight will happen.
