Bec Rawlings
Former UFC fighter Bec Rawlings first went public on TUF Season 20 about having suffered domestic abuse at the hands of her ex-husband, Dan Hyatt.
Hyatt was also a professional MMA fighter who had compiled an 8-4 record during his career, but behind the scenes he was also being disturbingly violent to his own wife.
“He would kick me, pin me down and elbow me, grind his elbow down my face and choke me unconscious,” Rawlings once told MMAfighting.com, revealing that the abuse had carried on for much of their three-year relationship.
At the time Hyatt denied the allegations, claiming that Rawlings had her own agenda, and some of his supporters began harrassing her online.
However, after a long legal battle she finally receive justice when her ex was found guilty of domestic violence in 2018 and also plead guilty to incidents involving two other women as well.
“To all the people that called me a liar, helped him slander my name & try to get my cut from the UFC & continue to emotionally abuse me & my family i hope you feel like a piece of shit.. cause you are,” Rawlings wrote afterwards.
