Dishonorable Mention: Combat Submission Wrestling
There aren’t a lot of fighters from CSW that are currently fighting at a high level aside from Josh Barnett, but he’s flunked a lot of a steroid tests. Barnett was once stripped of the UFC heavyweight championship for testing positive after defeating Randy Couture for the title at UFC 36. He fled to Pride after that.
Barnett also tested positive before a planned Affliction main event fight against Fedor. The cancelled fight was the last straw for the money-losing promotion, they opted to go back to just selling t-shirts after that.
Other fighters who have been involved with this fight team in the past include Sean Sherk, who was once tripped of the UFC lightweight championship due to a failed test, and Ken Shamrock- a man whose brother claims he’s been on a steroids his whole life.
