ONE Championship has handed another contract to one of the new rising stars in the field. Aliff Sor Dechapan was given a six-figure contract after his last bout, where he made a success through a knockout.

The 19-year-old fighter from Malaysia / Thailand has a clean 4-0 ONE Friday Fights record, with his journey starting in April against fellow Thai countryman Rittidet Kiatsongrit. His most recent success happened this Friday against Iran fighter Peyman Zolfaghari at ONE Friday Fights 40.

The audience at the 120-pound catchweight Muay Thai contest witnessed the young fighter make the opponent drop in the first 15 seconds of the fight. After that, Zolfaghari was cornered, giving Dechapan a chance to give him a right hand, which led to another fall. Ultimately, the battle ended at 1:44 of the first round with Dechapan’s right.

The success gives the teen an impressive 57-7 overall record in the field, with ONE Championship calling him “an undeniable star.” Needless to say, the latest success caught the attention of ONE Championship bosses, leading to his brand-new contract.

In related news, ONE Championship also handed a six-figure contract to the youngest fighter in ONE Championship history. Seventeen-year-old Johan “JoJo” Ghazali competed in the ONE Friday Fight series for eight months and managed to secure four wins. As part of the contract, the teen will be facing 29-year-old WBC International Muay Thai Champion Edgar Tabares in a flyweight Muay Thai fight at ONE Fight Night 17 on December 8.
