Tom Aspinall is more than willing to get back to the cage as soon as possible. In the past weeks, the Briton expressed interest in fighting light heavyweight champ Alex Pereira but said that there is still no progress about that possibility. With this, the heavyweight interim champ shared he’s open to anyone the UFC would offer to him.

Aspinall is no longer hoping for his “dream fight” against Jon Jones and now only wants to get back to the octagon. The British fighter hasn’t fought after winning the interim heavyweight belt against Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 last November. And while the promotion is in the process of filling up some of its huge event lineups like UFC 300 and UFC 299, Aspinall remains clueless about his next booking.

Last month, the fighter responded to the talks about him and Pereira participating in the historic UFC 300 card. “Poatan” dismissed the assumptions about his cryptic posts regarding the matter, but Aspinall said he would be willing to do it “if the smaller guy wants a scrap.”

Now, weeks after that, both fighters remain free from any booking. According to Aspinall, despite the earlier noise about the said match, there are still no responses that could lead to its booking.

“On my end, I’ve heard nothing so far,” Aspinall shared on TikTok. “As I’ve said plenty of times before, I’m not one to turn down fights. I’m not particularly looking for that fight [against Alex Pereira], but if it’s available and they offer it to me, I will take it. I’m ready to fight.”

The 30-year-old is an attractive opponent in his division right now, especially with the promotion agreeing with a fight proposal to allow him to defend the interim. However, Aspinall apparently still has no exact names on his mind but said he might take anyone the promotion offers to him.

“There’s been a lot of shouts about who I should fight next,” Aspinall said. “I’m ready to fight. Let me know. It’s as simple as that. Let me know who and where.

“I’m like the easiest guy ever to entice to a fight. Every time the UFC has asked me to fight, I said yeah. I’ve never even questioned who, when, where, anything like that. Make me an offer, and it’s highly likely I’ll say yeah.”
