McGregor Alvarez 3

Eddie Alvarez Versus Conor McGregor

And of course, the main event. Is there any fighter more exciting to watch than Conor McGregor? Love him or hate him, you can’t deny he definitely knows how to put on a show.

McGregor is the king of hype and he knows exactly how to get the crowd going. From his epic ring walk mish-mash of the Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize” with Sinead O’Connor’s “Foggy Dew”, to his in-cage antics, McGregor is the ultimate showman.

Eddie Alvarez doesn’t seem to be fazed however, unlike many of McGregor’s past opponents. Alvarez is a guy who generally just wants to fight and doesn’t really get bothered with the mind games.

Furthermore, McGregor is going back down in weight for this one, after competing at welterweight in his last bout. The power that he was unable to carry up to 170-lbs. could return to him at 155-lbs. and it will be interesting to see if Alvarez can handle that power.

Then again, if Alvarez is able to drag McGregor to the ground where he is at his weakest, then we will get to see if McGregor has indeed improved his grappling.

UFC 205 is going to be absolutely epic, even more so than UFC 202 ever was!
