In 2014, Aleksander Emelianenko was accused of raping his housekeeper, and also stealing her passport. While he has maintained his innocence, a Moscow court convicted him and sentenced him to 4 years in jail. Then 2016 rolls around however, and he is released from prison 3 years early for good behaviour.
EFN, a fight promotion whose events are shown on Fight Pass (they have weird intermission musical shows too) have expressed interest in signing him. His career record is 23W-7L, with his last bout being a loss in early 2014.
