Paul Buentello vs. Eric Prindle at Abu Dhabi Warriors 4. Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Buentello tasted victory for the second time in Abu Dhabi. His last bout was this past October against fellow UFC Veteran Sokoudjou at Abu Dhabi Warriors 3, he won that fight by knockout in round 3. With the win, Buentello improves his fighting record to 35-16. Prindle’s loss snaps a 3 fight winning streak, bringing his record to 11-8.

There has been a resurgence of the old guard in the heavyweight division. 38-year old Fabricio Werdum held the UFC Heavyweight Title until his UFC 198 loss to Stipe Miocic, and 36-year old Alistair Overeem is expected to be next in line for a title shot. If Buentello can string together a few more wins, he may receive his third call to compete in the UFC.
