The UFC paid another visit to Vancouver, Canada last night (Saturday August 27). The UFC on FOX 21 card delivered big time. Following the stacked UFC 202 card last weekend, the promotion came through with a solid cad.
Carlos Condit and Demian Maia fought in the main event of the evening. It was a tough fight to watch for fans of Condit though. Maia ran through ‘The Natural Born Killer’ like a man on a mission.
Vancouver Was Awesome
The real fight of the night featured Paige VanZant. The popular fighter who recently crossed over to ‘Dancing With The Stars’ returned to the UFC octagon in Canada. Facing a tough challenge in Bec Rawlings, ’12 Gauge’ shined.
VanZant was hoping to bounce back from the 2015 loss to Rose Namajunas in her last fight. Boy, did she do that. Bec Rawlings is no joke, and PVZ made her look like one. The end came in the second round by way of flying switch kick.

The Moment We Missed At First
There was a moment during the thrilling fight that everyone missed at first. VanZant was trying out her flashy new kicks and Rawlings showed blatant disrespect to her. It was just seconds later that her lights were put out.
