Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, two of the world’s most well-known combat sports stars are weeks away from stepping into the ring across each other and touching gloves. One is a mixed martial arts superstar, the other is a living legend in the sport of boxing. And only one man will emerge victorious on fight night.

Mental Warfare
When the fight was first announced, everyone pretty much expected the chaos to begin. Even before the two would ever step into the ring, they through verbal barbs on social media. The promoters in charge of the fight, Mayweather Promotions, Showtime Sports, even put together a multi-city world tour so that the two could go at it on the microphones.
It was a blaring success as the MayMac World Press Tour highlighted some of the incredible drama in the build up to what is expected to be the biggest fight in combat sports history.
Mental warfare, if you ask either Mayweather or McGregor, is all part of the game. You have to have every advantage so that by the time you do go into the field of battle, you have a better chance of victory.
Arguably, it was Conor McGregor who got the better of the verbal tirades. The Irishman is a master at owning the mic, peppering Mayweather with a slew of insults, the likes which he is known for.
Yet it appears however, that Mayweather might get the last laugh come fight night.
Nate Diaz is Rumored to Be Part of Floyd Mayweather’s Entourage for McGregor Fight
A member of Mayweather’s TMT entourage recently spoke with TMZ sports and said he’s working on bringing in Nate Diaz to walk out with Floyd on fight night. Members of Mayweather’s inner circle believe there’s a REAL chance Diaz agrees.
The source is “Love & Hip Hop” star Jason Lee, who is extremely close to Mayweather and is part of his inner circle. Lee was part of Mayweather’s entourage during the MayMac World Press Tour’s last stop in London.
Lee also coincidentally resides in Stockton, California, where Nate Diaz calls home. He says he is close to getting Diaz to become a special TMT VIP for the bout. It is meant to obviously rattle McGregor as he and Diaz share a past.
Conor Mcgregor and Nate Diaz share a recent past
As many mixed martial arts fans know, Diaz is the only fighter to have beaten McGregor in the past six years. Diaz choked McGregor out at UFC 196, when he took on the Irishman at welterweight with a week’s notice. Diaz then lost a rematch months later at UFC 202, with McGregor taking a majority decision.
Mayweather takes on McGregor on August 26th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The same venue where McGregor beat Diaz in a rematch in August of 2016.
Still, many fans regard Diaz as McGregor’s true tormentor, as after two gruelling bouts, there is left unfinished business between them.
So what do you all think? If Nate Diaz walks out with Floyd on fight night, will McGregor be rattled?
