Hope it was worth it!
Boxing is a tough sport at the best of times, let alone when your opponent is trying to eat you. When lacing up the gloves there are plenty of dangers associated with fighting, but you don’t expect to meet a cannibal in the ring.
Professional boxers face multiple hazards when competing, some of which include cuts on the face, broken ribs, ruptured livers or spleens, broken noses or eye sockets, brain damage, and on occasion death.

We’ve seen many dirty fouls and crazy moments in boxing over the years, but perhaps the most infamous was the moment when Mike Tyson bit Evander Holyfield’s ear.
The two fought twice between November 1996 and June 1997. Holyfield had won the first fight for the WBA heavyweight title by TKO in the eleventh round, but the rematch was a far more sinister ending.
Mike Tyson was disqualified in the third round for biting Evander Holyfield’s ear. This week a video has emerged of an eerily similar incident, but that ended in a very different way than Holyfield vs. Tyson 2.
