4. Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson

You don’t get a nickname like “Wonderboy” without winning a lot of accolades at a young age. Thompson, who challenges Tyron Woodley for the WW title at 205, already has a very accomplished kickboxing pedigree.

An interesting note about Thompson, is that he’s really only ever lost once at either MMA or kickboxing. His pro kickboxing record is 20W-0L, and his pro MMA record is 13W-1L. His amateur kickboxing record has been listed at 38W-0L.
He lost a decision to Matt Brown in his 7th ever MMA bout. That’s it. He’s really good.

Thompson was the International Kickboxing Federation’s Light Cruiserweight Amateur Champion in 2003.
