5. Phil Davis vs. Jon Jones
Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis is one of the best light heavyweights in the world, and now with a bit more experience under his belt, Davis would represent a big challenge for Jones.
Right now there are 3 top fighters in the UFC light heavyweight division: Jones, Cormier, and Rumble Johnson. Davis is the only man in the UFC to take Rumble Johnson to a judge’s decision in Johnson’s second (and larger) stint in the UFC.
That right there lets you know that Davis is good enough to hang with the elite in the division. Now in Bellator he has already won the light heavyweight grand prix, and just recently won a title eliminator bout against King Mo in May.
Make no mistake about it, Phil Davis is an elite level light heavyweight.
