UFC confirmed on Wednesday the full UFC Vegas 84 full lineup. The main event will feature Johnny Walker and Magomed Ankalaev, with Jim Miller and Gabriel Benitez fighting in a co-main event lightweight bout.
The event will be the light heavyweight rematch for Ankalaev and Walker, who weren’t able to finish their bout last month at UFC 294. To recall, Ankalaev sent Walker an illegal knee to the head while still on the canvas. This prompted referee Dan Movahedi to call for a timeout and a doctor to examine Walker. Despite reacting positively to the examination, the doctor asked to stop the fight, leading to Round 1 of the bout to stop at 3:13 with a No Contest status.
The event will be held at UFC APEX in Las Vegas on January 13. Aside from Miller and Benitez, other fighters that will join the event include:
