Wow…Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey recently started her career as a pro wrestler. Judging by her latest WWE appearance, ‘Rowdy’ still hasn’t taken any acting classes yet…
Ronda Rousey’s quest for global dominance was truly at its peak during her UFC career. Following a successful run as an Olympic Judoka, Rousey turned her hand to fighting in 2010 as an amateur.
Just one year and three wins later, ‘Rowdy’ turned pro and quickly put together a four-fight win streak. After winning the Strikeforce bantamweight title and defending it once, Rousey competed in an won the first ever female fight in the UFC.
By 2015, the Rousey train had picked up tremendous speed. The arm-collecting queen was 12-0, little did we know at the time but her UFC 190 knockout win against Bethe Correia was to be her last victory in MMA.
Against Holly Holm at UFC 193, Rousey was knocked out in horrific fashion.

WWE Signing
After an extremely ill-advised return and an equally harrowing KO loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, ‘Rowdy’ was done with fighting. Her fall from the throne had been accompanied by a brutal backlash from fans.
Rousey would never again grace the octagon with her feisty attitude and trash talking, but the world of pro wrestling was another ball game. Shortly after rumours had started surrounding Rousey appearing in the crowd at a WWE event, the news was confirmed.

WWE Raw Beef With McMahon/Triple H
Her latest appearance, a contract signing with Triple H, ended with Rousey slamming the veteran wrestler through a table. Durig last night’s WWE Monday Night Raw, ‘Rowdy’ appeared again, this time taking a microphone in hand.
Unfortunately, Rousey’s acting skills are simply not up to scratch. The result was a super-awkward confrontation:
Just when there was a peace offering between @StephMcMahon and @RondaRousey, @TripleH flips the script and does THIS! #RAW #RondaRousey @RealKurtAngle pic.twitter.com/4A36GRNy1Y

“Shocking”
Wow, Triple H’s punch was probably oscar-award winning in comparison to Rousey’s stand-and-stare style of acting. Then again, this is great for the WWE’s brand at a time when their stars are simply not making headlines.
Also, as long as it keeps Rousey from getting splattered around the octagon by Cyborg, it makes sense.
