Tim Elliott is reportedly replacing Allan Nascimento at UFC Fight Night 233 to face Su Mudaerji. Meanwhile, separate reports indicate that Daniel Marcos vs. Carlos Vera will no longer be included in the event’s lineup.

According to earlier reports, Nascimento was forced out of the bout due to injury. Fortunately for Mudaerji, Elliott stepped in to take the fight despite having the notice for less than a week. The bout is reportedly part of the four-fight contract Elliott recently signed with the UFC.

The promotion still hasn’t confirmed the matter, but Patrick McCorry shared that sources affirmed the replacement. With this, it is still a favorable situation for Mudaerji, who will be having another ranked fighter in the flyweight division.

Both will be entering the octagon with their recent losses in the last bouts. Elliott lost against Muhammad Mokaev at UFC 294 this October. On the other hand, Mudaerji hasn’t taken any fight since Matt Schnell defeated him in July last year.

On the other side of the coin, while Mudaerji got lucky in having a replacement Nascimento, the bout between Daniel Marcos and Carlos Vera was reportedly removed from the UFC Fight Night 233 lineup. According to reports, the former has encountered visa problems, preventing the fight from happening. Vera was supposed to face Marcos in his UFC debut, but the UFC reportedly won’t look for a fighter to replace the latter. UFC also still hasn’t confirmed this.

With these changes, here’s the new lineup of the event:
