This is HUGE!

Well known UFC reality series ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ has ran successfully for many years now. The first season of TUF, back in 2005, is credited for helping bring MMA to the mainstream.

Featuring a classic war between Forrest Griffin & Stephen Bonnar, the first ever TUF also showcased many future stars. If today’s report is anything to go by, we might be seeing some old faces back in action, and some fresh championship blood.

All Stars

MMAjunkie today confirmed “The Ultimate Fighter 25” is currently casting for a January filming start, with the show expected to debut on FS1 in April.

While exact details of the season are still undetermined, UFC officials told MMAjunkie that welterweights are likely to be featured on “TUF 25.” And rather than bring in a cast of unknowns, the promotion currently is targeting a group of “all-stars” to compete on the show, including UFC veterans and former contestants on previous editions of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

Sources close with Team Alpha Male, along with several rumored cast members, have confirmed with MMANewsline

TUF Veteran & Former Champion

Not only has TJ Dillashaw seen the TUF house as a contestant, he later went on to win the bantamweight title in the UFC. Now he’s the top contender behind Dominick Cruz, his ex-Team Alpha Male stable mate is the target.

Garbrandt shocked the MMA world at UFC 207, completely shutting out ‘The Dominator’ in a wonderfully technical display. With the latest season of TUF not going so great as before, will this cool reboot work?

‘No Love’s’ star power is growing, so perhaps this is just what TUF needs. But who would win the coaches fight at the end?
