Nate Diaz Has Been Caught Brawling at Another Combat Sports Event…

If anybody was worried that Nate Diaz would settle down after becoming a father last week, then you’ll be happy to know that he definitely hasn’t. Nope, Nate has been caught brawling again at a combat sports event, this time at Fight to Win Pro 77. Who knows what he is thinking?

The Stockton fight has made this a hobby of his recently, having got into fisticuffs with Clay Guida at Combate Americas 20 Mexico vs USA back in May. The younger Diaz brother was investigated by police for his role in the brawl that erupted as a result of him allegedly shoving Guida in the back, into a fence, leaving his face bloody.

He’s back at it again. This time he was caught on camera in phone footage that has since been released by TMZ. You know those guys that follow fighters like Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz around and ask them stupid questions? Yeah them. You can bet Nate won’t be too happy.

Footage

The video evidence is definitely incriminating. Diaz is seen in his trademark black t-shirt and blue jeans – honestly, he must have a wardrobe filled with them – at the event in Sacramento, on June 22. A mass brawl breaks out and Diaz can be seen winding up a punch, and absolutely decking a man near the mats.

Apparently, Diaz was there in support of some of his students at the event. According to TMZ, neither Diaz nor anyone else involved was arrested at or following the event. So far no police investigation is taking place. Basically, everyone is keeping their mouths shut.

Bad Habit

This is turning into a bit of a Diaz trend. Only last week comedian Marlon Wayans expanded on how the Diaz Brothers demolished a number of attackers in a street fight that happened a few months. Don’t mess with the Skrap Pack, because they’ll stomp on your head.

Who can forget that ridiculous bottle-throwing altercation between Conor McGregor and Diaz at a press conference in the run-up to their rematch? It was absolutely insane and saw both men fined $25,000 and $15,000 respectively.

Or maybe the most infamous of all the Diaz Brother brawls: Strikeforce: Nashville. Jake Shields’s post-fight interview was interrupted and the event dissolved into chaos after Jason Millar started on Shields. Nick Diaz threw the first punch, but Nate very quickly got involved with a huge fight breaking out.

Return?

It really doesn’t make sense. You’d think a professional MMA fighter would sooner get into the cage and make some money out of throwing punches, instead of risking arrest by involving himself with crowd violence. Especially now that he has a kid. However, it doesn’t always work out that way. Ask Conor McGregor.

Diaz has been heavily linked to a lightweight fight against Georges St. Pierre. However, this was emphatically denied by both men, who basically confirmed that it was just wishful thinking on the part of Dana White. One day we might see Nate back in an octagon. One day.
