3. Chael Sonnen

If Chael Sonnen never got into mixed martial arts he would have made a great lawyer, of the Saul Goodman variety.  In 2011 Sonnen pled guilty to Saul Goodman’s favourite offence, money laundering, and had to pay a $10,000 fine and 2 years probation.

The charges were part of a money laundering real estate operation in which fraudulent loans were given out which Chael and cronies received tens of thousands of dollars in kickbacks from.  Just the kind of crime you would expect Chael Sonnen would get in on.

2 others involved in the case, a loan officer and mortgage broker, received prison time for their involvement in the fraudulent loan cases.
