Some of you will remember Lavar Johnson as a hard hitting heavyweight knockout artist from Strikeforce and the UFC. Others, including his now ex-spouse, will remember Johnson for his despicable actions.

He came to court to answer for his crimes this year (2016) and they were savage to say the least. Johnson stood accused of brutally beating his female partner with closed fists, and reportedly power bombing her on to her head on a concrete pavement.

Johnson received five years in prison for his crimes, and the trial was publicized online for days.
