Din Thomas
Former UFC fighter Thomas believes that everybody that competes in the sport needs something to fall back on after they retire. For him that was coaching and the performing arts, having actually first dabbled in as an actor in the mid-2000s before turning his full attention to his MMA career.
As he reached the twilight years of his run in the UFC, Thomas started taking improv comedy classes for a year and then became a member of a number of improv groups like LUIS, MOD27 and ‘The Double D’s.’ He continues to do that to this day as well as also having done a number of stand-up comedy gigs too. These days, he’s best known for being an MMA coach to a number of high-profile stars including the likes of Tyron Woodley, Jorge Masvidal and Greg Hardy at American Top Team, and also being a part of Dana White’s ‘Lookin’ For A Fight’ crew alongside Matt Serra.
