Jim Miller wants to be “super fired up” when he is introduced at UFC 300 in his match. However, Bruce Buffer is not a fan of cursing when he’s doing his job.

Miller will be joining the historic UFC 300 event in April to face Bobby Green. The fighter is the first name confirmed by the promotion to join the lineup, and it is not a surprise as the fighter was also in the promotion’s 00 events in the past, the UFC 100 and 200. And given his record and most recent submission win over Gabriel Benitez, the spot makes sense. Miller is aware of his prominence in the MMA world and wants to have the best name introduction when he enters the cage in the event.

Last month, Miller shared that he wanted to be called “Jim ‘F*cking’ Miller” in his introduction, saying he “earned that nickname” and that “doing that in front of the T-Mobile full of fans would be awesome.” However, Buffer, who is the official UFC octagon announcer, doesn’t like the idea and suggested other ways to present the fighter without cussing.

“I don’t like cursing in my job,” Buffer told The Schmozone. “I respect Jim’s wishes. At this point, the answer is no. I’d go for Jim ‘Friggin’ Miller, maybe.”

While this could be frustrating for Miller, there are other bigger things to be concerned about when he steps into the octagon. After fighting on January 13, “A-10” only has less than three months to prepare for his next match against Green. Miller has a more remarkable record as an MMA veteran, giving him the odds to win the fight. However, this is not a certainty as Green will definitely be aggressive and desperate to redeem himself after his recent loss to short-notice replacement opponent Jalin Turner in December.
