The beef between Conor McGregor & Floyd Mayweather continues to brew…
After more than a year of back-and-forth insults, the feud between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is still going. Current UFC lightweight & former featherweight champion Conor McGregor has been teasing a boxing debut for some time now. In terms of historic occurrences, this is nothing new.
Many MMA fighters and boxers have transitioned to the opposite sport, two well known UFC champions who went to boxing include Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort, among many others.
McGregor’s Boxing Dreams
What’s different in the case of McGregor is that he won’t be fighting some old tomato can. Facing Floyd Mayweather in the boxing ring is somewhat like going from the factory line to the point guard for Orlando Magic. It’s a whole new world, yet ‘The Notorious’ seems intent on making it happen.
Although boxing critics and MMA media have lambasted the fight, claiming it’s nothing more than a media stunt, conflicting reports are constantly surfacing. Engaging in constant social media wars, the two appear to have been getting more and more offensive at a steady pace.
Now Conor McGregor has taken things to a whole new level.

Conor McGregor’s Latest Barb
Taking to Twitter, Conor McGregor released the following jibe. Referencing the highly controversial incident between Mayweather, his ex-girlfriend and CJ Watson, ‘The Notorious’ has taken things up a notch. ‘Money’ was convicted of ‘punching and kicking’ Josie Harris in front of their children in 2010. The beating happened after Mayweather saw romantic text messages between Harris and Watson, a point guard for Orlando Magic, and went berserk.

Ouch
Perhaps Mayweather got under McGregor’s skin with his $10K troll reward. Maybe offering him just $15 million for his boxing debut. Either way, McGregor’s Watson troll is a stinger no doubt.
