UFC 196 has now officially been downgraded to UFC Fight Night 82, and will be headlined by Johny Hendricks vs. Stephen Thompson.
As a direct result, every other event of the year has been moved back one number, so UFC 197 becomes UFC 196 on March 5th. So you see, Rafael dos Anjos vs. Conor McGregor will not happen at UFC 197, but will still go down on the same date under the guise of UFC 196.
