Despite high expectations, the Mayweather vs. McGregor presser in Brooklyn was a disaster…
Wow…what a night in New York. Showtime was up to their old tricks again, as they managed to completely fumble on the production. Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor were more than an hour later going live in Brooklyn, and when they finally arrived it tanked.
Loss of sound, yet again, and just an overall feeling of lack of organisation was one thing, but then the talk took a seriously sinister turn. Not for the first, or even second time this week, ‘The Notorious’ has caused a big stir with his race-related comments.

Conor McGregor Goes All Racist
Fans are starting to notice a pattern this week, and it all started on the first night of the presser. After McGregor told Mayweather ‘dance for me, boy!’ people gave him a pass. Perhaps it was just a slip of the tongue.
Then, in part two of three, McGregor caused concerns when he mentioned ‘dancing monkeys’ in regards to a scene from Rocky 3, during a since deleted episode of Jimmy Kimmel live. Now, live in front of the Brooklyn crowd last night, McGregor took it to a new level:
“Let’s address the race,” McGregor said. “A lot of media seem to be saying I’m against black people. That’s absolutely f*cking ridiculous! Do they not know I’m half black? Yeah, I’m half black from the belly-button down! And just to show that’s squashed, here’s a little present for my beautiful, black, female fans (humps air slowly).”

“Rocky III?” McGregor said. “I’m trying to remember which one was Rocky III. Was that the one in the celebrity gym? I can’t remember if that’s the one with the dancing monkeys or not.” (allegedly referring to the scene with black boxers training at the gym…)
For the first time in his sporting career, McGregor completely lost the crowd in New York. After referring to himself as basically having a black penis, ‘The Notorious’ was in unfamiliar territory as the crowd chanted for ‘Money’ Mayweather.
