Conor McGregor is showing no signs of normalcy as 2017 comes to a close…
Conor McGregor has seemingly confirmed rumors he was involved in a brawl with Irish Cartel members. While the Irish and British media have only alluded to an “Irish sports celebrity”, Conor himself took to social media to confirm his identity.
The Garda (Irish police) are aware of the situation but since no charges have been filed a report has not been made.
“There is no report on this matter and no complaint from any injured parties, patrons of the pub or the pub itself and no statements were taken,” a senior source said.
A well-known Irish sports star has assaulted a close associate of a senior Kinahan cartel henchman in a south Dublin pub. It is understood the sports star attempted to assault another young man in the pub, when Whelan’s associate attempted to intervene before being punched twice in the face.
During the row, a man in his 50s with close links to convicted drug dealer Graham ‘The Wig’ Whelan (35) was punched.” Gardaí believe the incident is linked to another alleged assault carried out by the sports star earlier this month.

Conor McGregor is Spiralling
News that Conor is engaging in bar fights with cartel members should be considered concerning to fans of his. Rarely do fights with organized crime family members lead to positive outcomes, so it’s fair to say Conor is exhibiting questionable judgement at the moment.
This current story comes on the heels of Conor jumping the cage at a Bellator show. Conor shoved referee, Marc Goddard, after entering the cage following the victory of his SBG Ireland teammate.
Many began to speculate after that incident that Conor was flying off the handle. Others are claiming Conor needs to be reeled in before something more drastic happens.

Is Conor McGregor Out of Control?
Following the incident at the Bellator show, UFC lightweight, Khabib Nurmagomedov, had this to say regarding Conor’s continued behavior:
“He does this all the time. In Ultimate Fighter show, in Bellator show, I don’t understand why he can do but other guys cannot do. Because he’s Conor McGregor? He cannot do this. The UFC has to make him humble a little bit because other guys say, ‘Oh, Conor do this? He can do this but why I not?’ This is why sometimes you have to follow rules when you’re a big name, because a lot of people are watching you. When you jump inside the ring, okay, but when you try to fight with referee, this is not good.”
Khabib has always shown a knack for pointing out when and how Conor receives special treatment.

Conor Confirms Identity of “the Celebrity”
Conor posted the above video to Instagram earlier today. On the surface, the post does not seem to say much. The caption on the video is what tells the story, however.
“The Celebrity”
As in, Conor is the “Irish Sports Celebrity” being talked about in the media.
