Tensions rise as Floyd Mayweather’s latest accusations get under Conor McGregor’s skin…
With no UFC events between now and August 26, all the focus has gone to Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor. Perhaps a little late, the UFC actually put in a request with the commission to co-promote the big boxing match.
Although Showtime has officially been handling the promotion, it’s really down to the fighters to make it sell. In Conor and Floyd, you have two natural trash talkers who have no problem whipping up a media storm.
The latest between these two has focused on quite a controversial subject…
Mayweather’s Racism Accusation & Conor’s Brutal Reaction
Earlier this week Floyd Mayweather accused Conor McGregor of ‘calling black people monkeys:’
“I just didn’t like when he called us monkeys,” Mayweather said. “I think that was totally disrespect. … He called us monkeys. I didn’t like it. It didn’t push a button to make me jump out of my character and go crazy, but I didn’t like it.”
And the same way he called us monkeys, we’re gonna see if he say that Aug. 26. But this is for a cause. This is for the American people. This is for all the blacks around the world.”
Conor McGregor’s savage response is below:
McGregor Rips Mayweather For Wife Beating
He knows there’s no racism from me. His father knows, Ellerbe knows, he says that I labeled him a monkey. I never once labeled an African American a monkey, and it f*cking annoys me that he’s even bringing this stuff up. If I was to label him after any animal it would be the rat or weasel. That is such a weasel move, and it’s such a sensitive subject.
He’s a man that beats his wife in front of his kid, he is the dirt of the dirt. So for him to even try and engage like that, that shows me his true colors.
All writing me off every bleeding article. Let’s see who’s writing who off August 26. I own this game, I own this f*cking game. In my mind, it’s an easy fight. If we go eight ounces, it’s not going two rounds. Don’t act like you’re not excited by all this.

You are sick of the boxing game, the same sh*t, it’s boring. I just want to say to the boxing game-It’s OK to love me, it’s OK. This is a fight that’s been in my crosshairs since Floyd has been running his mouth.
You know what I heard him say yesterday? Nothing, I saw a man scared. I saw a lackluster workout. I am here to win and win in devastating fashion. I don’t care about money. I have forever money, I’m set for life. People doubt me and question my skill set, like I’m a novice.
