Caio Borralho and Paul Craig are believed to be joining the UFC 301 event, which is expected to be on May 4 in Rio de Janeiro. This follows an earlier claim about the pairing of the two first reported last month.
UFC still hasn’t revealed or confirmed the details of the event, including its location and date. Nonetheless, according to an initial report from Ag. Fight, Craig and Borralho are the latest to be added to the lineup of the card. The teams reportedly have a verbal agreement already and are only waiting for the promotion to give them the contract to sign.
If true, this will be a chance for Craig to redeem himself after he lost in his last fight against Brendan Allen via submission last November. In his case, the fight won’t only help “BearJew” go back to the winning column but also improve his record, which has accumulated the numbers 2-3 in his last five fights.
As for the No. 15 Borralho, the fight could help him move up the ranking. The up-and-coming MMA fighter, who started his official UFC journey in 2022, currently has a clean slate in the promotion. With a total of five fights, which he all won, Borralho will be making an attempt to extend his winning streak when he takes his first 2024 fight against Craig.
