1. Michael Bisping vs. Yoel Romero
Despite Michael Bisping challenging and being challenged by several fighters a day on Twitter, his next bout is all but official. Yoel Romero earned a title shot by viscously knocking out Chris Weidman at UFC 205. Romero, and his awesome Cuban interpreter, are the next challengers for the middleweight championship. Barring a positive USADA drug test of course.
Romero took to Twitter recently and let it be known he wants to grant Anderson Silva a title shot once he beats Bisping. And he’s probably going to beat Bisping, though that’s what we all said about Luke Rockhold as well.
Speaking of Luke Rockhold, he hasn’t fought since losing the title. He had to pull out of his fight with Jacare Souza unfortunately. As for Souza he has a fight coming up with Tim Boetsch at UFC 208. Should he win that he could arguably be the next challenger after Romero.
I’m removing scrap digest from my feed .all these articles look like they are written by a casual fan. I really hope this isn’t a 1-8 ranking of these potential fights. There is no way in hell they put Carla Esparza back in the octagon with Joanna. That is a complete mismatch. Did you see the first fight. Joanna murdered her. There’s far better options. A 3rd Gadhela fight would be much better. A Karolina rematch , or an Andrade fight. Please stop talking fights
