Obviously the biggest heavyweight fight to make in the UFC right now and it is not even close. Former light-heavyweight champion and one of the greatest of all time, Jon Jones is threw shade to UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, saying he is still not a real champion.
Remember you’re not a champ until you defend that title @francis_ngannou be careful what you wish for

Jon Jones had a long reign in the light-heavyweight division, but didn’t really lose the belt inside the octagon but rather relinquished it. He has had a long run and fans want to see him fight the bigger guys. It will certainly be a fight between the greatest light-heavyweight champion versus the scariest man on planet earth.
Rumor says you don't want to fight until next year. Don't be scared Jonny boy, it's just a fight. https://t.co/AVwxWngV33

Unfortunately, the fight may be the most wanted fight to see but it is not the fight the UFC will make. Dana White has said that they have moved on the Jon Jones super fight and will book Derrick Lewis for the next heavyweight title fight. Even though no one could argue that Lewis does deserve to fight for the title, it is clearly not the fight that fans want to see the most.
What makes the fight interesting is, it has been quite a while since we see Jon Jones be the decent underdog. Usually in his fights, he is expected to win easily given how talented he is. Jones used his size and reach advantage to beat the smaller guys, his reach is one of the longest in UFC history.
Francis Ngannou on the other hand has that touch of death. Ngannou doesn’t need to land clean to finish his opponents. He has also improved his game tremendously especially his wrestling as seen on his rematch with Miocic.
Will Jones be as successful at heavyweight as he was in his light-heavyweight run? Or will Ngannou be the first guy to beat Jones decisively? Hopefully the UFC and Jones’s team find an agreement and book the fight before it is too late.
