ONE Championship has added a new name to its ONE Fight Night 17 bout lineup, confirming the promotional debut of Ellis Barboza. The British fighter will face Thongpoon PK Saenchai in a 120-pound catchweight Muay Thai bout.
The bout, however, won’t be easy for the debutant as he will be facing one of the most promising fighters of ONE. Thongpoon has a three-fight winning streak, with his last bout becoming a victory after defeating Yangdam Jitmuangnon via split decision in June. Two of his earlier fights, meanwhile, ended up with KO wins at just both the first round.
The two will join the rest of the fighters already announced by the combat sports promotion company. The event is on December 8 at the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
