Renan Ferreira and Ryan Bader believe that whoever will be the victor in their fight next month at the PFL vs. Bellator event will be the one to face Francis Ngannou next.

MMA fans will witness one of the biggest events in the industry when the champs and stars of PFL and Bellator face each other on February 24 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Headlining the card are Ferreira and Bader, who are both sporting the heavyweight championship title of their respective promotions. And if the two are to be asked, the main driving force of the bout is the possibility of a fight against Ngannou.

“One hundred percent (I want to fight Ngannou),” Bader said during a press conference this Wednesday. “That’s one of the fights – he’s got his boxing fight coming up, but I think it’s perfect timing. We get this done, and the winner gets that opportunity. Francis is coming over, a former UFC champion. He just had an amazing fight with Tyson Fury and put everybody on notice. So to have the ability to go out there and prove to everybody, to go out there and get that win, that’s huge. I’m not looking past Renan, but get that done 100 percent.”

“If everything goes as planned, yeah,” Ferreira voiced the same enthusiasm through an interpreter. “After Feb. 24, Francis is the name. And that being said, I’ll be able to go however he wants to do it. If he wants to do it in MMA, in boxing, we’ll be ready.”

While this might thrill the fans of the two fighters, there’s still uncertainty about whether or when it will happen. To recall, the MMA star is now currently invested in his boxing career and is set to fight Anthony Joshua in a boxing match on March 9 in Saudi Arabia. After this, “The Predator” is planning to have a rematch against Tyson Fury. Most of all, the Cameroonian-French already voiced uncertainty on when he will come back in his MMA career, albeit PFL CEO Peter Murray promised that “he will be returning to the cage later this year after the Joshua fight.”
