4. Chris Leben Retires on his Stool
Chris Leben, the guy who pissed on someone else’s bed in the 1st ever episode of the Ultimate Fighter, ended up retiring on his stool, unable to continue fighting against Uriah Hall.
Hall dominated the 1st round with Leben at UFC 168, so much so that Leben turned and said to his corner “I’m done”, and with that the 22-fight UFC career of “the Crippler” was over.
Leben would attempt a comeback years later with Bellator, however pre-fight testing showed that years of drug and alcohol abuse had taken their toll on Chris.
His heart was not healthy enough to get cleared to fight, and in fact some doctors feel he will eventually need a transplant. At least Leben, unlike Kimbo Slice, received this news before it was too late.
