Koreshkov has already ruined the Bellator welcome party for Benson Henderson, so it is safe to assume he would welcome the opportunity to do the same for Georges St. Pierre.
The 26 year old Russian is one of the best in the world at his weight class, with wins over Benson Henderson and Douglas Lima. The only knock on his record thus far was a loss to Ben Askren for Bellator’s welterweight championship. Askren won the fight in what would be his last fight for the promotion. If GSP signed with ONE FC, where Askren is now, a Ben Askren vs. GSP fight would be hugely popular amongst die-hard fans.
Koreshkov defeated Lima to win the Bellator welterweight title in July of 2015, and defeated Henderson in April for his first title defence. GSP could walk into Bellator and immediately receive a shot against Korshkov, but would be wise not to take him lightly.
