3. The Fight Will (Most Likely) Be Boring
Unless Conor decides he’s going to go with the “Viking/Berzerker Charge” strategy I outlined in this article last week, the bout will probably be boring.
Floyd is possibly the most elusive boxer of all-time. Conor has not even had one pro-bout, so it’s hard to imagine him having much success. Floyd dancing around Conor for 12 rounds is not something casual fans will enjoy.
If the casual fans are as turned off by Conor vs. Floyd as they were Floyd vs. Manny, they might just stop tuning in for good.
