Joe Rogan with the ultimate Joe Rogan prediction…
Everyone is talking about Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor right now. Having just been officially booked to square off in August, the two most famous fighters have set the combat sports world ablaze.
Featuring a long-debated MMA vs. boxing clash, the bout will nonetheless go down in the boxing ring. This match has a lot of people making predictions, and most of them are in favour of the boxer.
According to UFC commentator Joe Rogan, there is one way that McGregor could destroy Mayweather.

Kick To The Neck
During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, JR discussed how a Holly Holm-type kick to the neck would flatten Mayweather. Via MMAFighting.com:
“[If McGregor kicked Mayweather], that would be f**ked up, There’s probably some stipulations in the contract that say, ‘you can’t get him in an armbar or choke him.’
“[But] could you imagine? He would be a god damn folk hero. If they got in close and Floyd was shucking and jucking on the outside, and he threw a jab to cover up a left high kick and that left high kick necks him? Just clang! And you see Floyd go limp – and he would go limp. He’s never been high kicked like that. Jesus that would be crazy.”
“Would it be worth it? It would, but it would f**k everything up because no one would ever trust another fighter from MMA to ever fight a boxer in a boxing match again,” he said.
McGregor’s long time striking coach Owen Roddy says it won’t take a kick to get the job done:

Hands Like a Middleweight

“It’s a tall task,” Roddy said. “But if anybody could do it, Conor can. He shocks the world every time. Every time he fights he’s doubted, people are like, ‘You cant do this, you cant do that.’
“We know what Conor is capable of. Conor does it every time.”
“I think he’s gonna put him away,” Roddy said. “I think he’s gonna KO him, I think it’ll take a couple of rounds. And I know my phone is about to explode, I’m sure. But look, Conor does these things. He does these exceptional things all the time. If he says he’s gonna go in and knock him out, I think he’s gonna go in and knock him out.”

“I don’t really want to get into details on what we’re looking to do,” Roddy said. “But, I mean, nobody is perfect. Nobody is perfect. [Mayweather is] unbelievable defensively, he’s pound-for-pound one of the greatest, but everybody has holes, everybody makes mistakes, everybody has predictable patterns that they do over and over again.”
“Conor hits like a middleweight,” Roddy said. “You can ask any of the middleweights in our gym. He hits as hard, if not harder. It’s strange. He’s got cat-like reflexes. He’s so quick on his slips and his pulls, he’s very accurate as well. I think he’s gonna slip and fire and Mayweather will be on wobbly legs. It might be a counter, too. That’s what I see. That’s what I see in my head.”
