4. 2012 DWI Arrest
It’s not like Jon Jones can’t afford a cab (or an Uber). Jones was arrested in May of 2012 after he wrapped his Bentley (shown above) around a pole in the wee hours of the morning. He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
Jones avoided jail time but had to have a breathalyser installed on his car. His licence was suspended for six months.
This issue was really the first time the general public was starting to be made aware that these are the types of stories that are going to follow Jon Jones throughout his career.
