Paulie Malignaggi recently claimed he would destroy Conor McGregor’s entire division in the UFC. Joe Rogan does not agree…
Twice world boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi has suddenly found himself mixed up in the world of mixed martial arts. During a brief stint in Conor McGregor’s training camp, ‘Magic Man’ sparked an ongoing beef with the Irishman.
Having reportedly been knocked down during a 12-round sparring session with ‘The Notorious,’ Malignaggi became irate. As McGregor prepared for Floyd Mayweather, Paulie went on a verbal assault.
Later claiming he was placed in McGregor’s camp by Mayweather himself, Malignaggi then went on to make some really outrageous claims. During his most recent rant, ‘Magic Man’ said he would destroy the UFC lightweight division.
Perhaps that would be true in a boxing ring, but Paulie was talking about MMA. All this talk of crossovers has got to the point of insanity, and UFC commentator Joe Rogan has had enough.

Rogan Goes Ham…
During a recent episode of his podcast, UFC commentator Joe Rogan addressed Malignaggi’s comments about wrecking the UFC lightweight division. Understandably not convinced by Paulie, Rogan let out a verbal tirade against the boxer:
“Max Holloway would kill Paulie if he wanted to, Max would literally ass rape him. So would Cub Swanson, so would a lot of guys., They would just grab hold of him. He should shut the fu*k up cos if he wanted to have a UFC fight, he could go over there and get his brain kicked in. He’s out of his mind. Stop talking. You’re a boxer. A very good boxer. Just shut your mouth.”
“There are literally a million people in the world that could grab you and strangle the life out of you and there’s not a goddamn thing you could do about it. Sorry, dude.
“Just don’t talk sh*t. They [the UFC] will give you a wrestler and he will punch your fu*king face into a pulp and there’s not a goddamn you could do about it. Not a goddamn thing.”

“What’s his weight class? Like 45?” Rogan asked. “How bout you give him Ricardo Lamas. How bout you give him Yair Rodreguez, How about that? He’d probably fu*k CM Punk up,”
“The UFC created a monster (with McGregor) now, but what the f*ck else do they have?”
Brendan Schaub then went on to reveal Paulie nearly fighting with a McGregor fan during the festivities for MayMac:
“This fan yells out ‘Hey Paulie, I’ll kick your ass worse than McGregor did!’ Paulie is like ‘f*ck this’ and takes his head set off, Bryan gets in between them, he says ‘no Paulie don’t do this.’ Then Paulie can’t get to him, so he just spits on him. Chaos.”

Conor has changed the game for the better, especially if you’re the fighter,” said Schaub (transcript courtesy of MMA Fighting). “With WME, he’s steering the ship. Think about it, he made over – the numbers have come out, and they’re saying it’s gonna be the biggest Pay-Per-View of all time – so he made $100 million, right? So you’re telling me if you’re Conor and you’re part of his team you’re gonna go, ‘Hey, fight Nate Diaz for $5-10 million and also, we need you to wear this Reebok, and they’re gonna pay you $100,000 a year.’ You think Conor’s gonna [do that]?
“You’re playing a different game now. You’re talking about the biggest athlete in combat sports, you’re not getting him for the $200,000 you were paying him a year. He can go, ‘Listen, I’m down to wear Reebok, but it’s a different animal now.’”
