Since the UFC 200 debacle with Brock Lesnar, popular UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt has been on the warpath. Although still under contract with the UFC, ‘The Super Samoan’ launched a lawsuit against his employers.
Citing the fact he believed the UFC had allowed Lesnar to compete on steroids, Hunt’s verbally abusive rants became regular. He shredded the promotion on a daily basis, claiming he could have been hurt, or worse, against the roided up WWE star.
Since the saga of UFC 200, Hunt has competed twice more under the UFC banner. Losing to Alistair Overeem at UFC 209, Hunt would get back to winning ways by finishing Derrick Lewis in June.
Winning fight of the night honors, it seemed ‘The Super Samoan’ was back in dangerous form. Sadly, Hunt has been pulled from his scheduled headliner in November, and he’s furious about it.
Mark Hunt Brutalizes Dana White
The UFC claims they’ve pulled Hunt from his UFC Sydney bout against Marcin Tybura on medical grounds. This likely stems from Hunt’s comments about possibly having serious concussion and CTE during an interview with ‘Players Voice.’
Perhaps making things even worse, Hunt was replaced by a former opponent in Fabricio Werdum. Taking to Instagram, Hunt sent out a savage message to Dana White:

The interview has been taken out of context and want to reassure all my fans, I slur my words only when I have a drink I’m fit and healthy, and would have understood if the UFC requested a medical to ensure my safety, however this is total bullshit f—k you Dana, you’ve always hated me you dog”
I spent hours the other day with the doctors I was cleared to fight the interview I did with players voice was misquoted I don’t slur my words and is a is a running joke between my wife and me my memory isn’t that great but who remembers shit they dont want to not good @ufc @danawhite

Has anything like this ever happened before? Hunt passed his two pre-fight medicals, but the UFC is claiming that, on the weight of an interview, Hunt is unfit to compete in five weeks time.
Another first for the UFC, co-incidentally featuring a fighter who is involved in a lawsuit against them.
