Now that he’s at UFC, Michael Page has one thing on his mind: to climb the rank the fastest way possible and get the title shot against Leon Edwards. When that happens, the British fighter wants to have it in their own native land, the United Kingdom.

Page is set to face Kevin Holland. As confirmed by UFC CEO Dana White, “Venom” is now officially with UFC and will debut at UFC 299. The bout puts the new fighter against the No. 12-ranked fighter, but Page believes he’ll soon get the title shot to fight current champ Leon Edwards inside the cage, saying it will be in the UK.

“The fact is, we’re prizefighters. When the time comes, we’re gonna get to work,” Page told The MMA Hour. “And I can already see it. I can already envision it. I can already see MVP, Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards, in the UK, two British fighters. That is gonna be unbelievable.”

For Page, the aim is to follow the path of Michael Chandler, who left Bellator and quickly attained a high rank in the UFC.

“If you look at the Chandler route, I’m definitely on that mode. It can’t be long,” Page added. “I’m here for a good time, not a long time. I just wanna come in and make as much noise as possible.”
