Talk about a crazy story. but he is now being punished…
Bellator 170 took place this past weekend in California, with the big stories coming from the top two fights. Although Tito Ortiz was able to finish Chael Sonnen in one round, the fight was later focused on by conspiracy theorists.
Claiming the fight was fixed, fans drew attention away from what was a solid card. Paul Daley’s co-main event KO of Brennan Ward was a thing of beauty. Elsewhere on the card, though, was some drama nobody knew about.
“Vato” Fought After Being Stabbed
California native and Bellator welterweight Christian ‘Vato’ Gonzalez is in a bit of trouble. After competing at Bellator 170, where he lost by TKO against Daniel Rodriguez, it was discovered Gonzalez had been stabbed.
During the standard post-fight medicals, Gonzalez complained of chest pains. Doctors noticed he had a stab wound, here’s the kicker; ‘Vato’ is now being punished by the Californian commission for refusing to disclose the injury.
