Colby Covington Tore Into Nick Diaz on Twitter Last Night, Obliterating Him With One Angry Tweet…

It’s not often that people agree with Colby Covington. The man from Clovis, California has a face only a mother could love, and an attitude to go with it. He makes borderline-racist comments about Brazilians, ruins the ending of movies like Avengers: Infinity War, and is generally shameless while doing it.

In fact, the only thing he’s ever apologized for was calling out Joe Rogan, who probably would have dropped him with one kick anyway. Covington is currently the UFC interim welterweight champion. The most bizarre and pointless of all the interim titles so far, because he wasn’t the No. 1 contender, and Tyron Woodley will soon be ready to fight.

Anyway, he’s just gone and laid waste to Nick Diaz on Twitter. For the first time, fans might actually nod their heads along and think that he actually makes a good point. Oh, and of course he called him out. Now that would genuinely be an entertaining fight.

Kicked Off

It all kicked off after Nick Diaz posted on Instagram slating Daniel Cormier and the WWE antics that happened after he became heavyweight champion. He wasn’t impressed by the pushing and shoving that went on between DC and Brock Lesnar and made his feelings very clear. The most important bit was when he said:

“Dana White should give me this fight instead of d–k chest Brock Lesnar’s cheating ass. Don’t be scared homie. Nothing personal. I love DC but I don’t like what he does constantly, embarrassed for him and the sport. I doing MMA because it’s not WWF and I’ve never put on a B.S. act in my life. I’m sure fans would like to see a real fight.”

Ok. That’s clearly never going to happen.

Destruction

Covington agrees and decided that he would also make his feelings clear on social media, this time choosing Twitter as his port of call. He wrote:

“@nickdiaz209 Holy shit I didn’t know you could tweet from prison? Watch your mouth when youre speaking about the #NattyGOAT. Youre only beating women these days, you ain’t beating anybody relevant you f**king loser. Shut your f**king mouth before I shut it for you… homie!”

Diaz has been in the news recently after being arrested and released on bail on multiple counts of domestic assault. It’s all very messy and is not good for his image at all. Of course, he’s innocent until proven guilty, but you’d think he’d keep his head down in the meantime.

Call Out

The callout is a good one though. Covington is a welterweight who could fight at middleweight. Both of those are divisions that Nick Diaz has fought in. The trash talk would be either unbearable or unbelievable, depending on how much of these two men you can tolerate.

Of course, Covington has the unenviable task of trying to go through Tyron Woodley first. Maybe the winner will get Nick Diaz. That could be very interesting. Do you agree with ‘Chaos’?
