An ACL injury suffered in the Holloway fight would keep him out for a long spell and spoiled his plans, but he’d become a pay-per-view superstar and take his bank account into seven figures and beyond less than two years later.
Nowadays McGregor has set an even loftier target though – becoming a billionaire by the time he’s 35.
