Former UFC Champion Jon Jones is Making Waves in the MMA World After a Picture surfaced of Him Looking Massive…
Every MMA fan knows who Jon Jones is. Although most MMA fans regard him as damaged goods after his many misdemeanors inside and outside the cage, the former UFC light-heavyweight champion is still regarded by lots of people as the greatest of all time.
Jones has beaten all the best fighters in his division. Daniel Cormier, Alexander Gustafsson, ‘Shogun’ Rua, ‘Rampage’ Jackson… the list goes on and on. The Jackson-Wink Product held the light-heavyweight title three times, before being stripped for various offenses, including that hit-and-run, as well as steroid abuse allegations.
After returning to fight Daniel Cormier in a rematch last year, he tested positive for banned substances and was suspended by USADA. His knockout win was overturned to a no-contest, and he’s been sitting on the sidelines ever since. However, as he waits to find out when he’ll be allowed to compete again, he’s bulked up – and boy he’s big.
Heavyweight?
The picture above was posted by Jackson-Wink MMA’s official page. You can see that Jones is looking huge. He’s obviously been hitting the weights very hard during his time out. ‘Bones’ has been linked to a move up to heavyweight.
In an ideal world, the UFC would like to give him a taste of the division against someone like Stipe Miocic. A win over Miocic would give Jones the chance for another shot against Daniel Cormier, for the title.

Dubious
Of course, with Jones’s record, it’s only natural that questions are being asked about his somewhat enhanced physique. He’s tested positive for turinabol, clomiphene, and letrozole in the past. When you add in the fact that USADA hasn’t tested him at all this year, then it’s no wonder that people are skeptical.
It’s absolutely insane that Jones, an athlete currently serving a suspension for doping, isn’t being tested by the actual doping body who oversee the UFC. Well, he’s suspended so what’s the big deal, you might ask? The big deal is that he could be back by November if the UFC get their way. You’re supposed to be clean for at least six months before fighting.

Redemption
Jones knows that it’s last-chance saloon for him. Surely it must have hurt to watch Daniel Cormier unite the light-heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. That script was written for ‘Bones’ not ‘DC’. When you look at how the likes of Conor McGregor have become superstars, it just goes to show how Jones is his own worst enemy.
Another mess-up and it will be off to Russia for ‘Bones’. Doping rules are a bit more liberal there. I’d actually pay to watch him fight Alexander Emelianenko. Just juice the two of them up and leave them at it.
