Anderson Silva

“It’s the first time that I’ve ever walked out of the main event and given the belt to the guy’s manager and told him to put it on him.” – Dana White after UFC 112.

Dana White refused to wrap the middleweight belt around Anderson Silva’s waist following the UFC 112 main event. This after Silva defeated Damian Maia via decision in what many consider a lacklustre performance from the champion. In the latter rounds, Silva avoided Maia and was clearly just waiting out the clock.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been more embarrassed in the 10 years of being in this business,” White said. “It was the most horrible thing I have ever seen.”
